The sushi bar was just like you can imagine it to be. It was cosy and looked beautiful. At the center there was the place where the cooks make sushi and around them the conveyor belt (the sushi portions travel around the restaurant and people sit at their tables and just pick the sushi they like, very clever!)

Every plate has a different colour and the price on it. The cheapest sushi was about 120 yen, which is a little more than one euro. The most expensive ones were almost 10 euros. But not bad at all! My favourite ones were salmon-sushi, tuna-sushi and the sushi with fish eggs. So oishii!!!
You can drink cold water or green tea with sushi. Green tea is good because it neutralizes the taste in your mouth between the different kinds of sushi. So you can always taste the food properly.
When you are ready, you should separate the empty plates by their colour and make piles. Then the waiter/waitress comes and counts the value of your meal. And then you just pay at the cash desk. I think the waiters have to be good at maths.
We also went to see some historical buildings that day but I will tell you about that tomorrow. Now I have to go to sleep, tomorrow is a school day!
In japanese, the conveyor belt sushi is called kaiten-zushi, by the way! :) "kaiten" means rotation or something similar, so the name is pretty fitting!
